OUR STORY

Studio LBI provides Interior Design services for large scale properties. Louise and her team work with architects to bring their vision to life and with skilled contractors make it a reality. Light filled rooms, colourful textiles, natural elements, earthy textures, and brushed metals are the pallet that define and can always distinguish a Studio LBI home.

We believe in getting to really know our clients in order to give them the best quality service.  We aim to create elegant spaces with a classical influence and a contemporary edge.

We always strive to offer something different and unique.  Designs that are not dictated by current trends on the high street.

However large or small your project, Studio LBI is passionate about providing you with the best service to bring your home to life.

Based in Scotland

We pride ourselves in trying to manufacture most of our bespoke products in Scotland, supporting and utilising small local businesses, craftsmen, artisans and makers. We try to be as sustainable as possible and reduce our carbon footprint where we can.

Louise

Founder & Director

Louise is the founder of the Studio and the driving force behind everything we do (and the one most likely to rearrange your furniture mid-conversation). Having studied Interior and Spatial Design at London Guildhall and the Inchbald School of Design, she worked on luxury hotel projects in the Middle East, where she worked on luxury hotel projects in the Middle East, before returning to the UK to set up her own practice.

Louise is the engine behind the business—constantly dreaming up new ideas, steering the Studio’s direction, and somehow juggling a hundred things at once (with coffee in one hand and a fabric sample in the other). She’s a natural problem solver, a relationship builder and always on the hunt for brilliant new suppliers who really understands the Studio LBI ethos.  Louise works alongside Nicole in creating spaces that are stylish yet liveable, practical yet full of personality.

Now based in Glasgow’s Southside, Louise juggles studio life with family life alongside her husband George, their children Grace, Hannah, David and Sam the Westie (who thinks he’s the real boss). When she’s not in the Studio, you’ll find her hiking up a hill, elbow deep in clay at her local pottery studio or happily rummaging through antique shops for hidden gems. She’s also a passionate traveller, always chasing new ideas and searching for inspiration.

Nicolè

Creative Director

Nicolé leads the Studio’s creative direction and has been with Studio LBI for 7 years now.  She brings a beautiful blend of technical knowledge and artistic flair.  With a Postgrad Diploma in Advanced Architectural Studies from the University of Strathclyde, she has a natural talent for marrying timeless interiors with thoughtful functionality.

She has a soft spot for heritage homes, traditional details and spaces that feel lived-in and loved—think characterful cornicing, original floorboards and just the right amount of imperfection. Always one for precision, Nicolé is known for her meticulous eye and obsession with getting every finish and fixture just right.

Inspired by travels across the United States and the scenic landscapes of Scotland, Nicolé draws creative energy from the places she explores whether walking through historic neighbourhoods or charming countryside homes, she constantly collects ideas that influence her design approach.

Outside the Studio, Nicolé shares her adventures with her young son, Blair, and her husband. Blair is a familiar face on site visits and in the studio, often helping to measure up (a budding site manager if ever we saw one). Nicolé’s personal and professional lives are wonderfully entwined and her warm, family-first ethos is woven through every space she designs.

Jennifer

Interior Designer

Jennifer joined the Studio in 2023, bringing with her a First-Class Honours degree in Interior & Spatial Design from Edinburgh Napier and a wealth of experience in commercial interiors — from hotel design to large highly branded environments such as the Emirates Stadium and M&C Saatchi.

Now fully immersed in the world of residential design, she loves creating warm, timeless spaces that reflect the natural textures and tones of her rural roots. She’s also our in-house 3D visualisation whizz, with a knack for turning design ideas into beautifully clear models and visuals.

Jennifer lives in the countryside with her partner Iain and their energetic spaniel, Arlo — who ensures there’s never a dull moment.  When not at work, she’s often elbow-deep in another home DIY project.

Patricia

Architectural Technician

Patricia brings a technical edge to the team with a First Class Honours degree in Architectural Technology. She joined us in 2023 after gaining valuable experience in sustainable housing and residential development — with a focus on detailed drawing packages and Building Warrant applications.

Here at the Studio, Patricia is our go-to for CAD drawings, floor plans, elevations and all the behind-the-scenes magic that help bring our concepts to life. With a passion for precision and a genuine love of interiors, she bridges the gap between creativity and construction.

In her downtime, Patricia is never far from a paintbrush or power tool — working on her latest DIY or upcycling project. She and her husband Sean often head north to Inverness to soak up family time, fresh air and Highland views.

Stephanie

Interior Designer

Stephanie joined the team as our newest Interior Designer, bringing with her a BA (Hons) in Interior Design from Caledonian University and a strong background in both residential and commercial interiors. Somewhere in between, she hit pause on work life to spend a year backpacking around South America — think colourful markets, jungle treks and more overnight buses than she cares to count. The adventure left her with a head full of inspiration (and a serious love of empanadas).

Stephanie began her design career in hospitality, where she developed a keen eye for ambience, texture and thoughtful detail. Today, she brings that same layered, considered style to our studio work. Whether she’s sourcing FF&E, producing 3D visuals or leading client presentations, Stephanie approaches every project with clarity, creativity and calm.

Outside of work, she’s most likely testing new recipes in the kitchen, planning her next adventure or out exploring with her trusty sidekick, Poppy the dog.

Helen

Logistics & Operations Manager

Helen is the calm, capable force behind Studio LBI’s day-to-day operations. As Operations Manager, she oversees everything that isn’t directly design-related, coordinating suppliers, handling logistics and ensuring that the business runs smoothly behind the scenes.

Before joining Studio LBI, Helen built her career in management consultancy, specialising in the delivery of management systems. After taking time out to raise her family, she returned to professional life equipped with a proven ability to multitask and juggle priorities and a deep love for structure and efficiency.
She brings a clear, process-driven mindset to the Studio, maintaining high standards across every moving part of the operational business. Whether she’s packing a van with Tetris-like precision, hanging artwork on-site or getting hands-on with a screwdriver, Helen is always willing to pitch in wherever needed.
Outside of work, Helen can be found renovating her house or hard landscaping, spending time with her family or catching up with friends over coffee. She also dreams of converting her own van and setting off on travel adventures. Naturally, she already has a spreadsheet for it.

Sammy

Studio Dog & Chief Morale Officer

Sammy is small, fluffy, and takes his lunchtime patrols very seriously. He’s the team’s stress reliever, biscuit negotiator, and part-time nap model.

Most productive between midday and 2pm when he can sniff out lunch options. Sammy brings joy and a little chaos to daily studio life and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
